Dry Roller
For those processing photopolymer plates, these sponge rollers will remove water deposits on the surface of your plate after washout and before drying.
Keep the sponge roller submerged underwater at all times; I'd recommend storing the roller upright in a PVC pipe (filled with water) to avoid warping or shrinkage. Changing the water regularly if not in use and each time used.
Wring out excess water before rolling the roller gently over the surface of the wet plate prior to putting it under a hairdryer.
I’ve had mine for several years, it’s discoloured with patches of black but still doing the job.
