We aim to collect as little personal information as possible and design our apps so that, where practical, information is stored locally on your device rather than on our own servers.

LOCAL APP DATA

Many of our apps store information locally on your device.

This may include information such as:

• tasks and notes
• projects and milestones
• timer settings
• photographic process settings
• exposure or washout information
• inventory or artwork records
• reminder preferences
• other information you choose to enter into an app

Where information is stored locally, It’s A Salford Thing does not receive or store that information on its own servers.

NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS

Some of our apps use local notifications or reminders.

These may include task reminders, project reminders, timer alerts, break reminders or other app-related notifications.

Local notifications are scheduled and delivered through your device.

APP-SPECIFIC INFORMATION

WEEKLY TASKS

Weekly Tasks stores your tasks, projects, milestones, Project Time blocks, notes and scheduling preferences locally on your device.

Weekly Tasks does not require an account and does not send this information to It’s A Salford Thing.

WASHOUT

Washout stores washout process settings, timer information and preferences locally on your device.

The app may use device features such as notifications, voice controls or Apple Watch communication where those features are enabled.

ALT EXPOSURE CAL & WASHOUT

Alt Exposure Cal & Washout may store photographic process settings, exposure calculations, washout timings and related preferences locally on your device.

STOCKROOM

Stockroom is used to organise artwork, editions, exhibitions, sales and related records.

Depending on the version and services selected by the user, Stockroom may connect to external services for storage or data synchronisation.

Where a third-party service is used, information handled by that service is also subject to that provider’s own privacy policy.

EYE BREAK

Eye Break stores reminder preferences locally on your computer and uses them to provide screen-break and hydration reminders.

DATA WE DO NOT SELL

It’s A Salford Thing does not sell personal information collected through its apps.

We do not use personal information from our apps for third-party advertising.

We do not use our apps to track users across unrelated apps or websites for advertising purposes.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some apps may use services provided by Apple, Google, cloud-storage providers or other third parties where required by the app’s features.

Information handled directly by those services is subject to the privacy policies and terms of those providers.

Any significant use of third-party services will be described in the relevant app or in this policy.

SUPPORT CONTACT

If you contact us for support, you may choose to provide information such as:

• your name
• your email address
• the name of the app you are using
• information about your device
• details of the problem you are experiencing

We use this information only to respond to your support request and provide assistance.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Data stored only on your device can generally be removed by deleting it within the app or by deleting the app from your device.

Information supplied directly to us through a support request may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request and maintain appropriate support records.

Where an app uses a third-party service, deletion and retention may also depend on that provider’s settings and policies.

CHILDREN

Our apps are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when our apps, features or services change.
