Born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, I grew up in Salford from the age of 5 and moving down to
London 2006.
My interest in photography started in my early twenties after borrowing a Pentax Spotmatic
camera my father had received after his brother won it in a bet.
Before having the chance to put a film through the camera himself, I took it out for the
weekend and have never looked back (or returned the camera) since.
Photography soon became a real passion, experimenting with different formats and cameras.
I discovered the Horizont, my first swing lens camera, and joined the wonderful world of
Lomography, later getting an LCA, and upgrading the Horizont to a Noblex.
I still predominantly use film, there is something magical about getting it back from the
lab and looking at it on the lightbox for the first time that digital doesn’t give you.
My photography centers on everyday life, the things that I loves or attract my attention.
